With the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between NJIT & HIT after successful Summer Research Program for last eight years NJIT proposes for 2016 research program for HIT & Associated Engineering Colleges.

The goal of the program is to provide meaningful learning & research experience to undergraduate students. In last few years NJIT has hired 50+ faculty members with world class research talents.

The program will starts from month of June & continue till August (tentative). The international Symposium will be held on the completion of program.

The program is divided into three sequential parts:

• First part includes orientation session about NJIT, its facilities & the surrounding area.
• Second part focuses on students individual research projects which includes; work with mentor, meetings & project discussions.
• Attending tech & non-tech workshops & paper publication

All undergraduate engineering students with research interest will be preferred to participate in the program

Some of the factors need to be considered during selection:

• Enough background in the subject area
• Academic performance must be very good
• Strong commitment to independent reach projects
• Reason for applying : To learn, not tourism
