Placement Process

Student Placement Policy
The placement is applicable to all students registered for the Campus Placement of BRCM CET.

Eligibility & Registration:

  • All registered final year student if BRCM CET are eligible to participate in the recruitment process for placement through the training and placement (T&P) Cell.
  • All students eligible for on-campus jobs have to register themselves with T&P.
  • Student from earlier batches who are specially permitted as per differed placement policy will also be eligible to participate in the recruitment process.


Application Rules:

  • All applications to the companies are to be made only through online system of the T&P Cell.
  • All students are advised to check the company profile and background thoroughly of each company before applying. Kindly make informal decisions before applying to any company on campus.
  • T&P would not be liable for any default from the company’s end at any stage later.

 

Rules of withdrawing an application:

  • In case where the student wishes to reject an on-campus placement offer, he/she has to inform T&P Cell with relevant reasons along with supporting documents.
  • The student can withdraw his/her application to company only if the last date of application to that particular company is not over.
  • The student may also reapply to a company that he/she had earlier withdrawn from before end date.


Placement process:

  • It is the responsibility of the student to check Announcements/Notices/ updated information/ shortlisted names etc. displayed on the notice boards of Placement Office/Department Notice Boards. Students are expected to be on time as per the announcements.
  • Failure to read the notice board / WhatsApp Message / Website will not be accepted as an excuse for not participating.
  • Students not meeting the eligibility criteria mandatorily asked by the company, would not be allowed to sit for the same.
  • A student who applies and gets shortlisted is bound to go through the entire selection process unless rejected midway by the company. Any student who withdraws deliberately in the middle of a selection process will be disallowed from placements for the rest of the academic year.


Students should carry a Folder comprising of:

  • Multiple copies of Resume with duly signed by the student
  • Passport size colored Photographs (In formal Uniform)
  • Photocopy of all the Certificates (10th , 12th , Graduation Mark sheets and certificates etc)
  • College ID card
  • ID & Address Proof (viz: Driving License, Passport, Pan card, citizenship card, Aadhar Card, Voter ID etc)

 

Absenteeism rules and policy:

  • If for any reason the student remain absent from any stage/round of selection process he/she would be immediately de-registered from T&P and would not be allowed to take part in the further placement processes.
  • No student is allowed to show their personal contact via any means with the companies coming on-campus.

Offer Letters:

  • Offers received from companies must be collected from T & P Department / Company as per timings in notice. The responsibility of going through the offer letter and taking further actions such as signing and accepting and sending it back to the Company lies entirely on the student. In case offers are received directly by the student from the company, the copy of the same must be submitted to the Placement Office.

Student Conduct Disciplinary policy:

  • Students are expected to behave with the companies in a courteous manner and should not agree with the recruiters and maintain decorum even under provocation.
  • If there are any behavioral problem from the recruiters aside that students face, kindly inform the T&P office immediately. Do Not take action from your end.
